Business Development Representative Sales - Remote

Remote – Oklahoma, US

Loop1, a global IT Operations Management (ITOM) company specializing in the SolarWinds® ITOM offering, and Cisco Premier Partner, with specializations in enterprise networking, unified communications, and Webex collaboration, is recruiting a Business Development Representative for our Austin, Texas office.

In this role, you will spend most of your time on lead-generating activities to create new business opportunities. Directly responsible for researching and identifying prospective accounts, conducting outreach to the appropriate contacts in the account, sourcing meetings, and running discovery calls to qualify opportunities. You will engage in and track activities such as sales calls, business development, client meetings, and product demonstrations. All activities engaging prospective clients via phone and/or in-person and services will be conducted in a professional manner and with the intent of developing long-term relationships and delivering qualified leads to the Inside Sales team.

The role reports to the Director of Sales, North America.


Job description:

  • Actively network with key decision-makers & technical staff on social platforms to generate brand awareness.
  • Lead generation and development.
  • Work with prospects to book technical demos and generate new business opportunities for the Inside Sales team to close.
  • Maintain sales pipeline hygiene standards in NetSuite CRM.
  • Own and meet target quota related to a number of qualified opportunities, value of sales pipeline, and revenue.
  • Develop new business opportunities from net-new greenfield accounts.
  • Identify target accounts with strategic timing and strong use cases with a qualitative and data-driven approach.
  • Work with marketing and technical sales team to generate sales campaigns.
  • Play an active role in the creation and iteration of team processes.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined activity quotas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
  • Experience with CRM Software
  • Customer-oriented mindset

  • Willingness to learn
