Architecture and Requirements Review
Loop1 will facilitate an Architecture and Requirements Review. This is focused on reviewing and prioritizing requirements for the production implementation of SolarWinds Products. For those clients who have already installed and configured (wholly or partially) their SolarWinds solution, Loop1. will initiate a performance analysis of the deployed solution and make necessary changes or recommendations to correct any identified performance issues.
- Current architecture review – Determining and documenting what architecture the Client has at the time of the engagement i.e. hardware, available VMs, and database and understanding where those resources are located and who is responsible for those assets.
- Loop1 will consider the current architecture and determine if any additions need to be made to that architecture to successfully host SolarWinds Products as well as conclude what type of software; hardware may be needed in the future, considering the Client’s planned growth.
- Requirements and Use Case Definition –the definition of detailed requirements such as population of elements and devices, best practices for polling intervals for certain elements, dashboard customization, best practices of custom properties, identify custom pollers to be created and customization specifics for reports and alerts.
- Discover and populate additional devices and elements per requirements discovered during the Requirements Review phase.
