The SolarWinds 301 class is geared towards students that already have extensive experience with the SolarWinds platform but want to deep dive into topics such as Network Performance Monitor (NPM) and the Orion Software Development Kit (SDK).
Loop1 recommends the SolarWinds 201 class as a prerequisite to provide students with an advanced understanding of the SolarWinds platform as the 301 class will not cover installation and basic overviews. An accomplished engineer with a gift for translating technical concepts into plain English and a sharp business sense, Bill Fitzpatrick is building on the success of Loop1 Systems to execute an ambitious vision for the future. Bill co-founded Loop1 Systems, a SolarWinds Authorized Partner, in 2009. He played an integral role in building the nearly 10-year-old business into what is today, a bustling, Austin-based company counting more than 200 of the Fortune 500 as clients. In the summer of 2017, Bill assumed full ownership of Loop1 Systems and has since laser-focused on one simple goal: to bring the truth to light for each Loop1 client.
The whole of Darryl’s working career has been focused on the Management and Monitoring of IT Systems and networks, often within secured environments. He has been working with SolarWinds software for more than 20 years, and currently holds all 8 available SCP’s, as well as being a SolarWinds Channel Champion. Darryl has a background in training and development, with a post-graduate award from Cambridge University and a Fellowship from the Learning & Performance Institute. He has an evangelists zeal for implementing consistent, accurate and effective system monitoring following ITIL guidelines. A typical week for Darryl consists of 50% end-user training and 50% consultancy provision for clients of all sizes and across all industry sectors. Darryl is a frequent participant and invited speaker at trade shows and conferences.
Marcus Jacomb is a Field Systems Engineer at Loop1 in Cork, Ireland—providing remote and onsite support consultancy across all SolarWinds IT network management and monitoring tools. He has a vast amount of experience in working with clients of varying sizes and across a range of industry sectors, assisting with their SolarWinds deployments. This includes installation services, configuration, consulting, troubleshooting, system design, support, and training provision. Marcus is an enthusiastic, outgoing, self-driven and professional individual who thrives on new, exciting challenges and hard work. He has achieved all available SolarWinds certifications and plans to continue to learn and certify as new exams become available.
With more than 20 years of IT industry experience, Holger’s career began as a student-intern at Deutsche Telekom before becoming a consultant with a Veritas partner and then establishing his own business in 2010, I.Tresor—a German-based consulting and services organization with offices in Ansbach and Buchen. In 2021, Holger joined the Loop1 group with his company I.Tresor, taking up the role of Technical Architect. As a monitoring consultant, he has set up numerous SolarWinds installations in the DACH region, from small to large deployments. Being nominated as Channel Champion in 2018 and THWACK MVP (HerrDoktor) in 2019, he has proven his dedication to SolarWinds with his deep knowledge of IT Operations Management. Holger currently holds six SCP certifications.
Jeff Stinson has worked at Loop1 for more than seven years, starting as a Delivery Architect in our Managed Services team, before taking up the reins to lead our Engineering team in North America. During his time at Loop1, Jeff has worked with hundreds of clients designing, configuring, and teaching them how to use their SolarWinds products. He holds SCP’s in NPM, SAM, NTA, NCM, and A&D. Jeff is also the lead engineer at Loop1 for SolarWinds Web Help Desk and ITSM tools, and the instructor for our Web Help Desk public training class. With more than 17 years of IT experience, Jeff partners with our clients to ensure they get the most out of their SolarWinds environment.
Yashokanth has more than 12 years of experience in providing ITOM solutions. He has experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Senior Services Delivery Engineer, and Certified TL9000 Auditor. In his current role at Loop1, he works as part of the global Service Delivery team as an ITOM Managed Services Engineer, with responsibility for SolarWinds Services Assurance and Training. Yashokanth currently holds three SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP) Certifications in NPM, NCM, and SAM as well as a B.E (Hons) in Computer Networks and Communication Technology from Coventry University, UK.
